How the Process works?

Complete the application form online or alternatively, you can download, complete and send it back to us.
Await to be contacted
We will require some further details from the family of the child in order to get to know them.
Meet and Greet
We will then arrange to come to the home of the child and get to know them as part of the on-boarding process.
Who is eligible?
A child needs to be a South African resident, aged between 3 – 18 years of age, and living in devastatingly difficult conditions to be considered to be part of Help A Child South Africa’s full time program.
Who can refer a Child to Help A Child South Africa?
Parents, Legal guardians, Doctors, Nurses, physicians, child-life specialists, other medical professionals, or family members can refer a child to Help A Child South Africa by obtaining and completing the form from us or online via the website.
What are the next steps?
After confirming that the child meets the eligibility criteria for on-boarding, Help A Child South Africa will arrange with the family for further information about the child and our specially-trained staff or volunteers will visit the family and child for formal on-boarding.
